Here are some questions to consider as you begin. Some touch on rural parenting and others are meant to help you think about any impact and safety of participation for you and your family.

If so, what part of your parenting journey or which specific features of your journey would you most like to share? What is off limits? Is there anything specific you'd hope to gain from participating?
WHAT FORMAT WOULD YOU FEEL MOST COMFORTABLE USING TO SHARE YOUR STORY?
a) Would you prefer writing or recording your contribution from home on your own or, would you feel OK about sharing a sesh with me present to record you in your sharing? b) Are you OK with being videotaped or photographed? c) Would you want to contribute your own artwork? d) Is there a format that is a big "no" for you in that list or are you open to it all?

Do you have any ideas for how it could create positive change for parents or families here?
DO YOU HAVE ANY HESITATIONS ABOUT PARTICIPATING IN A PROJECT LIKE THIS?

Are there any aspects of your story you'd prefer to keep private?
DO YOU HAVE ANY CONCERNS ABOUT HOW YOUR PARTICIPATION MIGHT IMPACT YOU OR YOUR FAMILY?
For example, concerns around privacy, anonymity, or social judgment.
WHAT WOULD MAKE YOU FEEL MORE CONFIDENT AND SAFE WHILE PARTICIPATING?
Are there any supports or guarantees that would make the project feel more accessible to you? Ex: Consent form, being able to vet your transcript and/or portrait, getting questions or prompts to reflect upon before the interview/conversation ahead of time?

Are there any potential issues or concerns you have about visibility or exposure?
