I've just received CMT and have a few impressions I would like to capture before they fade. The benefit has a lot to do with the relaxation that comes when one allows oneself to be held in a safe container: the therapist's office, their hands, our own body and mind. The release which can lead to a hypnagogic state is a place from which to prepare, grow, integrate, expand and indeed, clarify. In many ways, the conditions which allow the body re-member as it opens are similar to those required for creating and moving energy within, around and through the container that is a group engaged or not in some process together.
